我々「ZIPANG」は、長い年月をかけて継承されてきた伝統工芸や高品質な素材などの“日本の宝物”を現代のスタイルに融合させた商品で世界に伝えていきたい、そんな想いを持った会社です。まず初めに取り組んだのは、日本独自の伝統的な防具である甲冑と日本のお酒という世界的に評価の高い2つのmade in japanを融合させた「ボトルアーマー」です。

子供の頃、端午の節句に両親が贈ってくれた甲冑は50年近くたった今も色あせることなく、その凛とした姿は両親の愛と共に、勇気、希望、前に進む力を与えてくれます。日本人的な感性を突き詰めて作られたものが、世界で通用し評価されているにもかかわらず、生活が近代化した現在の日本では子供に甲冑や雛人形を贈る家庭も減っており、市場の縮小とともに、伝統工芸士の方々も減ってきています。このままでは、何百年も受け継がれてきた技術が失われる・・・。

そんな現状を変え、少しでも日本文化の発展に貢献し日本の素晴らしい伝統工芸品をもっともっと世界の方に知ってほしい。端午の節句だけでなく、もっと様々な機会を作れれば現状を変えられるのではないか？そんな思いを胸に甲冑と國酒である日本酒、焼酎を融合させたボトルアーマーを「忠保」様のご協力をもとに完成させました。

端午の節句だけでなく、出生祝い、誕生祝い、結婚祝い、会社設立祝いや繁栄祈願、長寿祝い、自分へのご褒美へなど美しい甲冑を皆様の想いと共に大切な方に贈られてはいかがでしょうか？
きっとその方にとって一生の宝物になると思います。

生活がグローバル化する中で、日本の文化、魂が更に発展してゆくことを祈願し、日本の文化を表現する担い手として、私達も一歩ずつ頑張ってゆきたいと思います。

ZIPANG aspires to show the world “The treasure of Japan” such as traditional arts and crafts, high quality materials, providing the products which blend the traditional and modern style.

The first we worked on is “Bottle Armor” that is blended 2 different things of internationally-respected “Made in Japan” which are traditional Japanese armor and sake.
The armor which my parents gave me for Tango no Sekku (Children’s Day) 50 years ago is still timeless, and it gives me the courage, the hope, and the power of moving on with my parents’ love. Lately there are few family giving their children the armors or Hina Ningyo, and the market is shrinking. And also the traditional craftsmen are getting few, even though these traditional Japanese crafts are respected in the world. If this situation goes on, we might be losing our valuable skills that have been taking over for years…

We would like to make this situation better and to dedicate ourselves to developing Japanese culture as much as we can, and also would like to introduce our fabulous traditional arts and crafts to people in the world. We thought it might be possible to change the situation if there are not only Tango no Sekku but more opportunities. With this thought and the great help of Tadayasu corporation, we produced “Bottle Armor” that is integrated an armor in sake and shochu. How about giving this beautiful armor as a gift to your loved one not only for Tango no Sekku but also for congratulating on new baby, birthday, marriage, establishment, or longevity, for praying for prosperity, or for yourself? It will be the special for them.

We wish Japanese culture and the spirit more growing in the global society, and we keep carrying out our business mission as the one of leaders representing Japanese culture.
